In my 35+ year management career, I have read over 5,000 applications and resumes and conducted thousands of interviews. This “other side of the desk” experience has given me first-hand experience of what “sells” on your resume, your online application, and what you say during the interview.  And I can tell you the things that you should never say and do.

If everyone is telling the hiring manager they can do the job, then how will you stand out? My clients become experts in what they know and craft their stories in the STAR format, giving a situation, the action they took, and the result. Instead of fearing selling themselves, they are confident when speaking to hiring managers because they have done their homework and understand their value.
